I Am Not Your Best Friend!

Purposeful Parent Tip:  Be your child’s parent, not their best friend in order to see them flourish. “Mommy, you’re my best friend,” said my daughter a few years ago. While these words warmed my heart due to their sincerity, I was quick to respond with, “I’m not your best friend honey. I’m your Mom.”
